The Evolution of the Business Telephone

No more is a business telephone simply a device for answering calls. It can also be a terminal with an LCD screen that delivers the benefits of powerful applications to users-applications such as presence, screen pops (giving information about who is calling), and XML interfaces to vertical industry applications. The point is: A telephone is no longer just a telephone.

The latest evolution of NEC terminals (the DT300 and DT700) proves this beyond any doubt. These terminals are advanced, easy to use and flexible, and can be easily customized to display exactly the information their individual users need to excel at their jobs.

That is why we say the DT series of digital terminals (DT300) and IP terminals (DT700) are both sufficiently powerful to fulfill the promise of UNIVERGE 360,

The point of UNIVERGE360 is this: Let's put people squarely at the center of business communications. Let's make sure the communications support the business needs of the employees who are functioning in those roles for maximum advantage rather than letting the technology determine how they communicate.

Business Benefits

The DT300 and DT700 Terminal is an out-of-the-box solution, which means that it does not require extensive IT time to implement and manage.

Once installed, it becomes part of the NEC phone management system that allows IT to monitor and upgrade the phone from one centralized location, saving time and money. This is done with graphical "IP Phone Manager" application, which provides functionality such as identifying the IP devices on your network, configuring the devices, uploading firmware and many other functions. For both the IP and digital world the MA4000 is still able to manage the network and connectivity of the devices to the NEC Unified network.

The NEC Unified DT Terminal is flexible and easily adaptable to your current unified communication solution. With optional adapters such as the DSS console, Push to talk handsets, recording adapters, Survivable line adapters for both IP and digital for the DT330,DT730 and DT750, it can easily be added to your existing system without requiring hardware upgrades, which means not having to make an investment in capital expenditures.
